Positive Activities: The Gower!

We had an absolutely fantastic trip to the Gower in Wales, a beautiful beach on a beautiful day.

We started our day by walking to the beach, fire pit in tow, wading across saltwater flats and greeting friendly cows. We set up camp near the cliffs, then went off to explore!

The beach was beautiful, with a natural rock arch to explore, as well as wildlife such as jellyfish and small fry in the pools. Some of us went paddling, while others used a novel transportation method (pictured) to keep their feet dry. After a lovely barbecue and kite flying (which only got caught in a tree once), we headed off to the Porthcawl fairground for some fun, or terrifying, rides. This was an awesome day, and we're all looking forward to next week's trip!
