Fantastic Funding News!

You Turn started the New Year in 2023 with the Amazing news that we have been successful in securing funding from The National Lottery Community Fund totalling £471,281 over three years!

The funding will enable us to continue and expand our existing work, and the number of young people we work with, transforming the lives of the most hard to reach young people.

The aim of the Life Smart project is to support vulnerable, marginalised young people with core skills and to provide them with the opportunity to positively change their lives.

The project will enable young people to experience a sense of belonging, and provide the opportunity to take control of their lives and change their future. Most young people feel that their lives are not their own and they have no control over what happens to them. Our project gives control and responsibility back to the young person, supporting them to make the most of the opportunities that are on offer. We actively support young people to get part time jobs to support their independence, this develops their confidence and enables them to take positive steps towards their future.
